At AARA Counselling Services, each appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To ensure fairness to all clients and maintain the quality of care provided, we kindly request that you review the following policy before booking a session.

  1. Session Fees

Session fees will be communicated prior to booking and must be paid in accordance with the payment instructions provided.

Each booking covers one counselling session of 50 minutes in duration.

  1. Cancellation Policy

As appointment slots are reserved specifically for each client, cancellations are generally not permitted once a booking has been confirmed.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, you may request a reschedule in accordance with the rescheduling policy outlined below.

  1. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Rescheduling is permitted only once per booking.

  • Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may not be accommodated.

  • Rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

  • If AARA Counselling Services needs to reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment time.

  1. Refund Policy

As counselling appointments involve reserving dedicated professional time, all payments are non-refundable.

This includes:

  • Completed counselling sessions.

  • Missed appointments.

  • Late cancellations.

  • Sessions affected by client-side technical or connectivity issues.

  1. No-Show Policy

If a client does not attend a scheduled session and has not provided prior notice, the appointment will be considered a missed session (no-show).

As the appointment time was reserved exclusively for the client, the session fee will remain applicable, and the appointment will not be eligible for refund or further rescheduling.

  1. Online Session Requirements

For online counselling sessions, clients are responsible for:

  • Having access to a stable internet connection.

  • Using a suitable device for the session.

  • Joining the session from a private and appropriate environment.

Refunds, credits, or additional session time cannot be provided for interruptions caused by technical difficulties on the client’s side.

  1. Late Arrival Policy

Please join your session at the scheduled appointment time.

If you join the session late, the appointment will still conclude at the originally scheduled end time to respect other scheduled appointments.

If you are unable to join within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be considered a missed appointment under the No-Show Policy and will not be eligible for refund or further rescheduling.

  1. Agreement to Policy

By booking a counselling session with AARA Counselling Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.
